When Western fine art photographer Beau Simmons asked us to help bring one of his largest black and white prints to life, we saddled up.
Large Art and Bigger Logistics
The piece, a large scale art photograph measuring 82″ x 67″ titled Cowgirl Summer, was destined for a special client and needed to feel just as powerful as the story it tells. Beau’s signature style blends timeless Americana with raw emotional depth, so the framing needed to match in both scale and substance.
We started by printing the image on fine art photographic paper, then carefully mounted it for long-term durability and flawless presentation. From there, our team engineered a custom hardwood frame designed to support the weight and sheer size of the piece to ensure strength without sacrificing elegance.
The final touch? Optium Museum Acrylic. Known for its virtually invisible clarity and top-tier UV protection, this acrylic prevents warping or bowing (a common issue with art this large) and preserves the detail and depth of Beau’s photograph.
